I guess VideoCellar was busy, and missed the post and repost.

Both of my discs are Digiview, too. I've got "Raiders of Galaxy" and "Space Transformer".

Would yours, by chance, be "Space Thunder Kids"? :)

I say: upload them. You have my permission.

If they're prohibited uploads, the attentive archive staff will surely delete them right away. You can count on it!

Also, I've been looking for these wonky cartoons for a while. I read a cool article about them on "the internet". "The internet" said they were humorously horrid.

I've got a couple of the digiview titles as well, Space Thunder Kids and Defenders of Space. I think they should be uploaded as well. I'd love to see some of those older Korean titles.

FP: I've been trying to be conscientious, you know. That said, yeah, maybe I will upload. Because....

Ganbachi: You MUST upload Space Thunder Kids, I've been dying to witness it! Defenders of Space won't hurt a bit, either. (Well, actually, it will hurt a lot, but that's the point.) I'll upload both of mine in return. You have not lived till you've seen Space Transformer. :D

Space Thunder Kids to follow. If it's a problem I'll take them down again.

Enjoy(!)

You're my hero. You'll have to wait a day or two for mine, sorry. But they will come, I promise. :)

No problem. Space Thunder Kids is uploading at the moment. Fingers crossed there's no problems, it should be available in about an hour.

This is great:) thanks everyone. Iv'e got some of the titles that are being uploaded at the moment. I'll transfer Earths Defence from the VHS onto DVD then upload that, the quality will be a bit ropey but I'm sure it will still have the same fun kitsch element. I'll see if I can add any missing ones after that.

Yeah Ganbachi, I am here. It shouldn't be a problem transferring it. I just didn't want to do it before I knew it was okay to upload and got a bit tied up with other things this week, normally I would have it prepared ready before posting in the forum. Will be sure to post the link when it's done.

I'm having trouble uploading at the moment, annoyingly, it keeps on timing out. I will try again next week, I might encode a smaller MP4 version and try uploading that for the time being.

Hey Aubrey-IAH, how's it going with Earths Defence? Don't mean to nag, just it's been a while and I was wondering if you've given up!

Sorry, it did take a bit longer. I had to have two attempts but there it is. That's all I've got of these.

OK, not live yet, but should go live soon:

Tomorrow or the next day, Space Transformer, which is mind-blowing.

These are so awful, I cried in my Hot Pocket. Walt Disney must be spinning in your grave. He invented animation, you know. Forget about that Bray guy - it was Disney what did it. Ub Iwerks helped wid de placenta.

J S Blackton, Emile Cohl and Winsor McCay are generally considered to be the pioneers of animation. McCay's early movies had a massive influence on Walt Disney. Theres a couple of his films are on the Archive:

It hasn't gone live yet, but I (FINALLY) finished uploading "Space Transformer" this morning, and it should show up soon. When it does:

http://archive.org/details/SpaceTransformer

That's the last one I've got, more's the pity. But it's a good'n. Meaning amazingly awful, of course.

So that makes four Joseph Lai masterworks on IA. If anyone has more, I will also be most happy. :)

Well, if I'd known it was going to be such hard work I wouldn't have bothered you!

Seriously, anytime is good, I'm just loving these cheap little rip-offs at the moment.

Interesting. I've run the titles of all your Korean anime uploads through the IMDb and THEY'VE never heard of any of them! Now, THAT'S obscure!
